Cheap Bumpers on eBay!!

i say cut the hoop off

 

Question for you since you’ve done some winching. Since there weren’t any instructions for install of the bumper, when you mounted the bumper how many nuts/bolts did you use? There were the obvious 6 nuts on the front (3 per side), and the 4 sway bar bolts, were there any others?

 

The 6 front bolts. All the bolts on the sides that connect the two parts together. The 4 sway bar bolts, and then I added two extra bolts that hold the bottom part to the crossmember (by the tow hook)

 

Led bar might look out of place though. Might ditch the led bar lol

 

Excellent, thank you! I saw those 2 as well on the crossmember and was thinking I might need those as well.

 

Just cut those end pieces and slide them back in in order to use those bolts

 

ditch the light bar or relocate behind grill if you have room in front of the coolers

 

Gotcha, I didn’t look close enough then. I take it the nuts are welded to those end pieces?

 

love it when your at right angle..but the hoop covers the toyota head on.

Hoops are like bikini tops. Better when removed!

 

Your supposed to inspect it before they take it off ups truck so.if it's damage don't except it

You could cut it off and have them send you the bolt on hoop

 

Contacted the guy through eBay and 20 min later he called me on the phone and told me he was going to do his best to make the situation right. The guy sounded really cool and answered a few questions. I mentioned TW and he said he’s dealt with a few of you guys also

 

These bumpers might be the gays but the seller sure does seem to make things right when stuff gets fuckered. Good on him!

Mine was shipped FedEx, signature REQUIRED! Had it sent to my house, because well, I didn't wanna pack a 120lb of steel in/out of my truck twice having it delivered to work. Hindsight, should've had it delivered to work.
Took a few phone calls and at least one business day to make it so I could pick it up at the terminal. Delivery driver was like, "I don't know what this giant ass heavy thing is, but I was nice to it the entire time I've had it, and it's time for it to GO AWAY!"

 

So in the end everything worked out. Excellent customer service on their end. The guy followed up with me and gave me a partial refund. As far as the dent I guess I’ll just put body filler in it and paint the whole bumper with bed liner as he recommended

 

Can’t complain because imo the bumper looks badass and I got it for a 1/3 of the price of the big brand name ones. I got it for the main purpose of deer protection because I love hunting and being out in the woods flying around sharp turns lol
