Front lights, Amazon NiLight brand, with lighted switch. The yellow lights are LEDs, maybe $10:

I wouldn’t call this a mod so much as a maintenance item but I replaced the original headlight bulbs with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. The light from the old bulbs looked like it came from kerosene lamps and the new bulbs were a huge improvement in both color and distance.

Find a way to buy yourself a welder. Learn to weld. Build lots of stuff. Use welder to make friends and make money to pay for other shop tools that in turn helps make you more stuff and more money. The cycle continues.

Thanks man, I definitely have some ideas. I want a roof rack, and lifted a bit, those are the more expensive upgrades. Im going to do the led dash light swap soon. I’ll probably need help with wiring for additional lights for a light bar or pod lights, things like that.

There's plenty of writing out there to cast doubt on this claim. The physics of how the light is emitted from a LED bulb is completely different from a halogen.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/why-leds-should-not-be-run-in-halogen-reflectors.454371/

Every time someone makes a claim like "these LEDs don't scatter the light" they never seem to show a pic of the light beam pattern. I mean, there was that one guy a while back that was bragging you could see the tops of trees with his low beams. :frusty:
