Cheap mod that's changes the look

Hey Fam.
I bought light decals for my 17 Tacoma to cover the chrome parts. They look amazing. It's from www.importequipment.com. The price is very cheap, easy to install and again looks good. Here are a few pix.

What happens at night to the reflector you covered with black tape??

 

I suspect installing this tape is much more difficult than it seems as getting all the bends and corners is going to be very difficult! I have tried working with this tape and it can be very, very frustrating!

I like that headlight overlay! I could care less about how "illegal" it is because 95% of the mods done on this forum are "intended for off-road use" anyway. Decent alternative to cracking open your headlights

 

I love it. Bring it on. Oh and Toyota with the TRD Pro with the black housing doesn't care either or 75% of all the rest of the manufacturers

 

And I don't think those are reflectors. They are just chrome plastic. Reflectors for the reverse light. Ya ok.

 

It is a little frustrating especially with the bubbles

 

I think less worry about getting a ticket as much as if he's ever in an accident that is not his fault, a sharp insurance guy could take a look and make him liable because he covered up the required reflectors. Sort of like, opposite of an insurance policy.

 

They also have decals for the push button where it says TRD engine or TRD and different color options.

 

How was the installation for those headlight overlays? I have some laying around and was thinking about putting them on.

My only concern, do you get a red tint in your reverse lights when backing up? or is the vynil completely out of the way of the light?
I have bright led reverse lights

I like the tail light look and will definitely be ordering.
As for the front I don't mind the orange as much as the chrome. I'll pass.
