    OK, I'll bite. How are you displaying Movies on your Head Unit? There are times I'm waiting on the wife, and I'd like to be able to play downloaded content (when not driving of course).
    If it matters, I use Android Auto.

    Ahh, ok, the vehicle AA/ACP interface is a box with those apps pre-loaded. Interesting.
    I'm interested in running an app on my AA phone which does it.

    Here's a YouTube video on streaming video from the phone to the head-unit (without the $179 dongle)... YMMV

    I have no cheap mods...cheapest one was the rockford fosgate power series speakers front and back...that was like $400-500 though. oh wait...yota branded bed extender was only $200, yota branded tonneau cover was like $300. Pretty proud of all of those. Oh I also bought a 5 step folding step thingy for my dogs...and they refuse to use it unless it's completely folded up and it cost like $250...not proud of that though

    ‘Cheap’ is subjective, but the Expedition Essentials track mount is sub $100 & my most recent fave mod. Love being able to mount basically anything at eye level & arm’s reach. Takes about an hour from start to finish. Clean, low profile, more or less looks OEM.
