I wanted a fork mount for my mountain bike. RockyMounts makes a great fork mount for the track system, but at $70 I wanted it to be cheaper. I was having trouble finding the exact pieces, so hopefully this will help someone.

    Here is what I used.

    Amazon:
    RockyMounts LoBall mount - $24.95

    Lowes:
Stainless socket head cap screws 1/4-20 x1 - $2.15ish (got it out of one of the hardware drawers) Stainless hex nuts 1/4-20 - $1.98
    Stainless fender washers 1/4x1 - $1.98

I sprayed the washers with a coat of rubberized coating so they wouldn't stand out so much. I plan to buy a head rail track and mount it to the front at some point, but this will do for now. For around $30 I think its pretty hard to beat. Hope this helps someone.

    Nice!

I looking into some of these too, but had to do double take on the prices. Are the only differences between the Loball and Loball Track the mount and locking cam?

Yes, that's correct. I didn't need the locking skewer because I put my front wheel in the bed and lock them all down with a cable bike lock. I think they also sell the LoBall with locking skewer and no mounting hardware for around $50.

I made a pvc mount. I'll probably end up buying something eventually. I don't want to have to remove my wheel every time, which is why I haven't gone the fork mount route.

I have the rocky mount. Its such an awesome way to mount a bike that I didn't mind paying for it.

How do you tighten that hardware? Is there space to get a wrench into the channel and keep the nut from spinning? Lowes sells the channel nuts in the electrical department that would fix this issue.
