    Hello TW,

I have recently lifted the front end of my truck 2 inches but would love to see my rear end lifted a tad bit. Would a 1 or 2-inch block by my best option if we are strictly going off financial effectiveness? Also is it possible to keep rear shocks for 1 or 2 inch rear block set up?

Please let me know what you think.

A cheap set of blocks and new u-bolts will be fine if you're doing it for just looks and mainly driving on the road.

I’d consider a Icon add a leaf. If that’s too much work then some aluminum toytec blocks.

My advice, stay away from aluminum. My .02

But yes, a block would be fine. You can off-road too, just easy. And also, 2” in the rear might be cutting it close to the stock shock.

SUMO springs! It'll help with any added weight too. They go in place of the factory (junk) bump stops.

I recently put a 1" block in the rear and I haven't had any complaints. Ride may have stiffened up a tiny bit but nothing crazy. I did 100+ miles of dirt washboard road (pretty decent speeds) and some easy trails this weekend and no issues whatsoever....YET. Paid $80 for new u-bolts and the block...would do it again if you wanna save money and just get a 1" lift.
