Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
I've noticed a few pics of TW trucks with TRD stickers in the wrong place. If you go to the trouble of buying the cheap stickers from the internet, at least research the right place to put them on your trucks. Just saying.

    People find different things amusing..

Some enjoy the smell of burnt toenail clippings, some do not. Everyone's different.

It would be pretty boring if we all did the exact same thing.

Oh, and sockmonkeys decals may be cool, but they are not cheap....just sayin' (worth every penny)

Okay. Many missed my point. I didn't want to say it directly but I guess I will. Just trying to help some buyers out there.
Do your checking before buying a TRD or any thing. Owners have put the stickers on to get more for their trucks. I worked at a major used auto dealership. Was working a Tundra trade in. Was supposed to be a TRD, I ran the VIN. Not a TRD. Owner finally told me he bought the stickers cause he couldn't afford the real package. Pissed me off cause people care about their real ones.
I with you. It's your truck. Do what you want to it. Put stickers all over it. Hope you get some cash for advertising with the stickers. Atleast don't pay for the stickers to advertise for someone else.

i see what you are getting at...my bank ran the vin on this truck i was going to buy and told me it was a TRD truck, but doesnt have trd stickers....

i had this chevy malibu and put SS emblems on it... everyone thought it was an SS malibu.. i measured them out so they were in the same spot as the actual SS malibu...

but i wouldnt care if someone put it where ever they wanted... not my truck.

I've seen reproductions on Ebay, but have no idea of the quality.

Just don't put them on a truck that would clearly not be a TRD. ;)

I'm different! I have a TRD disguised as a 96. So I guess I have the only 96 TRD truck.

soooo now that someone brought up TRD stickers... it makes me wonder whats the difference between a TRD and an SR5 Limited? my truck is an Sr5 limited, has the e-locker, and there is some box labeled inverter behind the back seat, no clue what it does? when the bank ran the vin they said it was a TRD truck, but its not labled that? how can i find out for sure? if it is want everyone to know it, and i want damn stickers.... haha...

trd has locker, tokico shocks, and progressive front coil springs. While the non trd generally have open diff, non progressive springs, and bilstein shocks.

If your truck has the locker, than it is a TRD. Who ever had it before must have removed the bedside decals.

The TRD's come with the Bilstein 'heavy duty' shocks as well vs a non TRD.

That's gonna be the sr5 color match. There is also a limited edition that has color matched fender flares, but with chrome rear bumper and chrome mirrors.

I've considered removing my bed decals. It gives it a much cleaner look in my opinion.

i can see giving it a cleaner look, but i like the "prestige" that comes with everyone knowing you have an expensive truck...
