Computer says I have 12 out in Cali, I can probably shave another $10 on top of that.

Same here. Only took about 15 minutes to install. Swampmonkey, I was down your way last week. We've got a place in Gulf Shores.

These are smitty built steps that's why they are cheaper than the NFABS... Chinese made. nNFABS are made in USA I believe?

Bamataco. Let me know next time your down. We can meet up and take some side by side pics of our tacos. Yea, my steps had made in china stickers on them. Still, seem strong and will suit my needs for the wife and kids to load up. Can't beat the $280 price though. Plan on getting them speedlined if the powdercoat ever chips. Also will weld on end caps instead of the plastic plugs. I also did the black out mod on the pinch weld between the steps and rocker with rustoleum bed liner. Will post pics when I get a chance.

Bought my 2" N-fabs through Streetside Auto for $300.99 shipped after $30.00 discount. Had them Line-x coated for $100/side. Very happy with the way they turned out. Due to the extra thickness of the Line-x coating, I did buy all new 1 1/4" long stainless steel bolts and washers (came with zinc coated 1" bolts and washers). Here's pics.

Just bought a Smitty N-Fab set.
    1) Made in China
    2) 2" tubes - they look ok
    3) The packaging had rust on the endcaps ALREADY - before I even put them in. I am thinking I may need to spray the ends with Rustoleum and then silicone in the endcaps. Also not optimistic on longevity.
    4) Bolts looked weak - will replace with SS ones shortly
    5) perfect fit
    6) tapped for 6 bolts, Taco only has 5 predrilled & tapped holes in body
