I got a steal on this when an entire section of them was moved and they didn't switch the prices from whatever was there- not bad for $67!!

i bought a few of the first ozark trail soft sided coolers when they first came out and didnt like them. i sold them on ebay and bought a rtic soft side that i really like think it was $99 https://www.rticcoolers.com/shop/coolers/softpak/RTIC-SoftPak-20-Grey
then i got one of the ozark trail 52quart. i liked it an it worked well, but my wife and son didn't like the rubber latches. they thought they were to hard to open. i got the lifetime and love it. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lifetime-55-Quart-High-Performance-Cooler-Grey-90820/850043843
the latches are the best. super easy 1 hand opening. i am not sure it holds ice as well as some of the others but works well enough for me. i only wish it had a better way of securing it in the bed of the truck.

I’m in the food business, I own a sales brokerage. I’ve just used Coleman Extremes, they’re cheap, keep ice for a few days and work perfect. Definitely not bear proof, though if you go camping.

The bear proof ones are only bear proof if you use locks on both ends. In reality, probably not many people doing that.

I used one of these for a few years, in fact just tossed it at the dump today because the handle broke and I can move the dam thing with stuff in it. If the handle didn't break, I probably wouldn't have ozarks now.

Even if the handle breaks, they’re good for a backyard bbq. They even have four beer holders for the serious drinkers.

That's what they did for the last couple years. That and I took them as a way to store ice on the back to town ice runs while camping.

I have the lifetime cooler and it's good for long weekends. It's $100 and made in Utah.

Lifetime or Coleman Xtreme series. I'm leaning towards the Coleman for price. I need a second cooler. I don't need ice for a week but do need to keep food and drinks cold for a couple days camping with kids in and out of the cooler. Living in SC it can get pretty hot and humid a large portion of the year.

How's it work for you? Camping in SW VA last weekend I had to top my igloo marine off with ice pretty much daily. That said all the drinks went in it warm so that prob effected the initial ice load, but sill had to reice each of the following two days.
