Cheapo Hi-Lift mount FOR bedrails

just got me a hi-lift also for my 2010 toy. Manwithouta plan..great job. Any one have any ideas about maybe somehow rigging up a anti-theft device or whatever. I can just see a jerk undoing the wing nuts to rip it off !!

 

I was thinking about getting special made carriage bolts and use like wheel lock nuts.

 

I mounted my hi lift to my (kobalt slimeline) tool box. To secure it I bolted a cable to the bed of the truck and ran the cable through the jack and pad locked it. My '11 had 3 holes drilled in the bed at the front (the end closest to the cab), so I ran a bolt through the metal ring in the wire cable, and ran the bolt through the hole in the bed. Then used a locking nut on the bolt. Also the bolt head cannot be turned with a socket.

What diameter are these carriage bolts?
