The wife and kid are the real victims here, if it's not been mentioned already.

My point was that its not your (or anyone's) business if he does that. You're his friend, not his wife.

It's not right what he did, but its not our place to judge people and get involved.

We all have buddies who do this kind of thing- if you (or anyone else) ran around telling all their buddies' wives about this, you wouldn't have any friends left.

Again, sorry ya had to go through this, i know it sucks

    The OP was the victim.

The wife and kid didn't become victims until OP decided to tell her about the cheating.

I still think they're victims regardless before finding out. Doesn't make it much better that they don't know and think life is all great while daddy is out fucking around. And given the end circumstances having a gf cheat is trivial compared to a husband and father of a child.

Don't get me wrong, I agree in the situation you shouldn't go telling the wife about it, because that's just being selfish and not taking the whole situation and it's consequences into consideration.

She and the kid became victims the minute her old man decided to cheat. The OP did her and the kid a favor.

I think you should thank the original people who told you about it (the ones you didn't believe). A true friend will risk telling you what you don't want to hear.

So...your saying the wife and kid didn't become victims until they found out they were and if they had never found out about it your saying they were technically never victims? That my friend doesn't make any sense.

This makes no sense at all..... Unless your buddy was selling weed to your girlfriend who is trying to beat a drug habbit and you are both on probation for drug dealing/using etc etc etc.....lol
This is more like your best friend stealing your weed, getting high with your girlfriend and banging the sh$t out of her dude.

Actually I'm not a cheater. I don't agree to only have sex with one person unless I'm content with only having sex with that one person.

Obviously you're making assumptions when you don't know what you're talking about.

And my statement had nothing to do with be a cheater or not, it was philosophical. If they don't know they're victims, they're not victims. I never said that made it ok. In fact I said several times that it is wrong.

It does make sense. Whats funny is that everyone read OP's post and thought that he should tell the guy's wife.

But if OP told the wife and the buddy beat the shit out of him, keyed his truck and gave his wife and kid a couple of black eyes, a bunch of y'all would be thinking that the guy should've kept his mouth shut.

We can entertain ourselves with what if's till the cow's come home. Like....what if the so called buddy keeps sleeping @ on his wife and fianlly pisses off some dude that come's over and blows them away or ???? this could never end. Thank God for the wife and kid they can get away from this cheater and move on. I for one, am glad this guy didn't keep his mouth shut.....no regrets when right is right!

    Just to clarify please...

So if the wife dies from getting a disease that she doesn't know she has until it's too late to treat it, she is not a victim of his gallivanting around unless she is told that he cheated?
