Although not the thing that feels the best - or provides any "satisfaction" to your hurt/anger...but - and some of the other guys have gotten it right: Let. It. Go.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Yes, as bad as it sounds, it may be 10 million times worse for the kids if you do tell. If that is who he is, his wife will find out somehow, they always do. Although he is a bad husband and friend he may be good father. I'm not saying he should treat you or his wife that way, but I couldn't be the one to tear the kids' world apart. You just need to walk away from the whole thing, his cheating ways will come to light one day without your input.

    .
If I were you OP, I would avoid them like the plague for awhile, maybe a long while, anger is an extremely powerful drug, very, very dangerous. There is a provision in Criminal Law called Crimes of Passion for this very thing you are going through. I have done terrible things when angry so I can tell you these things from personal experience. I have learned to take at least the first three or four things that come to mind and automatically chuck them out the window because those first few things usually involve heinous felonies. Revenge is only good if you are willing to go all the way, give it some time and calm down before you decide on a course of action.

First reactions are almost always is to beat the shit out of both of them, perfectly normal reaction, but I beg you to think it thru & try to see the big picture. You can do your first thought & smack'em down but then you face criminal charges (& dont think for a sec. that he/she/they wont do it, they will)

Years ago I found out on Christmas eve my wife of 12 years was doing a co worker of hers that I welcomed into my home & considered a friend, I drove around for a week with a pistol, ready to right the wrong done to me. The only reason they're not dead & I'm not in prison is because of my kids. they saved their lives & kept mine from imploding.

Bottom line is they werent worth throwing my life away, same goes for your situation, Im sorry you have to go thru this, it hurts most def. but it will get better, I promise...good luck man

    Let it settle.
The dude and the chick are selfish and don't give a sh!t about you.
If they did, this wouldn't have happened.

    Then move on.

Or if you really want to get fucked up:

Secretly convene with your buddies wife, make a sex tape with his wife in revenge.

Then at the end of the video, have her stand in front of the camera with divorce papers she had made behind his back.

Then mail it to his work...

From a girls point of veiw, you either
act like you dont give a fuck and ignore her if she trys to say she sorry blah bla blah
or go tell your so called "Best Friends" wife what happened.... but then if that happened then she might want a divorce and well if you think about it wont be fucked up because in the end they get together. Sooo ignore her and do everything you can but talk to her. it will destroy her even if she says she doesnt care....
but im very sorry she cheated on you, its not a great feeling

this is pretty much the most logical solution, and im with the others that say it's better to do it now then when the daughter is in the teens, cus at that stage it's just bad real bad.

similar situations: the nice girls i use to know turn out well pretty promiscuous and down right defiant at anything
