The jerky feeling you get while turning on dry pavement in 4x4 is normal for part time 4x4 and you shouldn't be driving in 4x4 without wheel slip. So 4x4 on pavement is a no no if it's not slippery

You can only fit a 265 70 17 or 265 75 16 tire for sure without rubbing and needing to cut stuff.

Please don’t start with the you can’t use 4 wheel drive on dry paventment. People do it all the time, just don’t do tight turns with it like an idiot and you’ll be fine
