Your truck is going to be pulled apart by Toyota engineers to see if they can find a weak point that didn't show up before launch.

His truck is going to die so my (future) truck can have a better life. Sir, I appreciate your sacrifice.

I request that you post pictures of your new-new truck with the TRD-pro wheels installed.

Also, must have really sucked for that Lead Tech to have to fly into Hawaii. He'll probably have to be there over the weekend to make sure everything gets checked out properly.

Had an issue with one the other day, sounds like the same thing. Had it figured out but Toyota still wanted to look at it. Called parts back to investigate further

If you find out anymore info in what went wrong, please post.

Glad you are getting a new one. You're lucky, most of us would probably have to put up a fight and deal with lemon laws. Congrats.

I'd say the trade was on the dealer and not Toyota. They don't buy back vehicles that quick. Even when there is a major problem they field techs look at it and the vehicle gets repaired.

Believe it was a slight issues that resolved itself. Still replaced suspected part anyways. Can't get into details due to work rules.

I do think Toyota keeps an eye on with what is going on in these forums. I have seen companies on mountain bike forums chime in actually on issues related to their products and people starting threads discussing their issues.

I just got my truck today, drove 80 miles on CEL code P0598 some sort of heater control or something. Gonna have to go back to dealer. Pretty pathetic but hoping it will be resolved soon
