Hello all, I am new to this forum.

    I currently have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma.
Yesterday I noticed the check engine light was one, as well the trac off light.

Never have experienced this issue before.

Took it to autozone yesterday to get it scanned.
The details mentioned are the following:
    1. Recommend to check the gas cap (already did).
fyi, I did not restart the battery, don't know if I am supposed to or the lights need to go off them selves.

    2. Power train system
    Code P0455
    Code P0441 (secondary code)

    3. ABS
    Code U0073
    Code U0126

I will take it to the mechanic this week.
But I want to check with you folks first based on your experience or if you have dealt with this issue before.

    Should I worry?

    Appreciate your feedback and help.1000037426.jpg

    Yeah.
For the first codes, go to a dealer and get a new OEM gas cap. Do not go to Amazon, eBay, or anywhere else. For the second set of codes, use the Google and watch some videos on some things to check and try.

The EVAP system codes may take a few cycles to go off.

The P0455 and P0441 together typically indicate an EVAP leak, as stated check the gas cap seal and sealing surface and make sure it's an OEM cap.

If that's all good then you will need to usnpect other areas or smoke test the system, if you are in areas where rust is an issue any metal parts of the system like the filler neck would be suspect.

The Trac Off light will always illuminate with a Check Engine light and there will be codes in the ABS module so disregard the ABS codes until the engine codes are fixed as they should clear on their own after the engine codes are fixed.
