Well...ok so the day after posting that mine was fixed it did it again...I KNOW I had the gas cap on tight. It seems to be happening around the time to fill up so I filled up, clicked the cap 3x's, and reset the light...I'm at half a tank now we'll see if it comes back on and when. If it comes back on this time I'll take it to the dealer with all the info, at least I'll have timeframes of exactly what's occurring on my truck

BTW, since it was asked of op, my engine filter is clean, was changed a bit before I bought it, looks like oem quality one

Because I was at work and all the programs we use only work in all caps.

Arb summit bumper. Morimoto led headlights and new grill. Grill and lights have sequential turn signals.
I have the same issue, the lights came on after I had my arb bumper, new morimoto led headlights and new grill with lights installed.
Have put in several full tanks since and I know the cap is locked.

I hit a local auto parts shop that does free scanning and they said several sensors are the cause, oxygen sensor and something on exhaust.
It's a 16 dc or with less then 45k miles

Also if you have not checked, the crawl control and other options don't work.
4 hi and lo and dif lock do work.

Filler cap wasn't tight. Fixed that and dcrc'd B- and it's all good.

    Found out what mine was.
Some of the extra lights was powered with a add a fuse in the fuse box under the hood.
It caused a false read in the ecm.
Guess that's not the place to tap for power for extra drl lights.

Having a similar issue with my 06 Prerunner TRD V6. Bought the truck May of 2019 with 124k miles, previous owners took meticulous care of this truck. Drove it up to Virginia and back with no problem at all. One day my check engine light comes on, with no noticeable change in how it runs/sounds/feels. Cleaned the air intake filter, took it to autozone and the codes read P0174 and P0171, both banks reading lean. Take it to a local reputable family-owned mechanic, he runs the sames codes...but says he's getting contradicting readings that they are showing too lean and too rich. Ultimately he found a deteriorated MAF Sensor o-ring, which was replaced and he cleaned the throttle body. The code was cleared and didn't return. After about one week of driving a maximum of 40 mph, I get on the highway...and it seemed as though as soon as I got up to 60mph the CEL comes back on....any thoughts?
