2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4

I have a question who can help me, I have a toyota tacoma 2017 trd 4x4, the light of the check engine is on and the light of the traction off. in the toyota dealer they say that the harness costs me 5000 dollars and that the warranty does not cover it because it was a rodent thing that I do not believe because my car is in your garage, I wanted to know if someone here has passed the same
