    Hey friends,
09 Tacoma … check engine light was on when I started her up this morning ( wasn’t on last night ) Code P0607— we had a good amount of snow thru the night and check light came on once before months ago when we had heavy rain.. coincidence? I cleared the code and has not come back, any help much appreciated!

It's a PCM internal error code if it's not persistent I wouldn't worry too much about it although you may get your battery checked and make sure your battery cables are clean and tight as low battery voltage can cause those types of codes to set.

My '99 had the check engine light come on periodically for about 6 months. Couldn't ever figure out why, until I eventually found out it was from an exposed wire in the ground wire for the battery.

Thanks guy’s, battery terminals are clean, I’ll
Check the voltage tomorrow, seems odd to only happen when there’s a lot of moisture in the air

Let us know when you find out. Hopefully it's quick and simple.

Thanks, all seems to be good … maybe just a quirky thing but seems to happen every few months with significant moisture in the air ..thanks!
