I just had my check engine light come on as I was on the way to school today, the engine is running fine and didn't seem to act differently, what could it be. My mom called the service dept. after I left and they said it was probably an emissions problem. What say you guys?

No, that's the Maint Required light. Check Engine means there's an issue with some sensor, could be anything from an O2 sensor out, knock detect, ect. Get the CEL code (autozone will do it for free) and go from there...

Open the hood, check engine. If it's still there, you're golden.

Get those codes read at Autozone as stated above.

Also if I'm going to have to take it up there for them to look at could I see if they would do the TSB for the Rear leafs? Or is it too late for that.

Make sure your gas cap is on correctly. It's a very common CEL problem on vehicles with OBDII (1996 and newer).
