Check Engine Light Flashing 6 Times?

This is my first thread and am actually excited to see what is wrong with my truck! For starters I was coming down from Mt. Hood and went to pass someone. Downshifted to 4th going about 55 and let off out the clutch and next thing you know my clutch is out. Push it in and just easily goes to the floor. I wasn't far from home so I just gas shifted. Just as I get home my clutch starts working as if nothing happened but can tell a new one is for sure needed from bits of noise coming from the tranny, gears run perfect, just at idle truck shakes like a dodge. two days later my check engine light is flashing 6 times, kinda hoping its for my clutch, but would rather for sure know rather than guess. Also what's a decent clutch that can handle my little mods yet not blow $$$$$$

 

Check engine is emissions based. Are you sure it isn't the maintenance light? Are u soon coming up on a oil change?
