Light has been on for a while, checked first time and it was just an o2 sensor, guy at oreilys told me it was that but didnt tell me which sensor it was, so i figured there was only one sensor, got home and put it in the bank 1 sensor 1 slot, didnt even notice the one in the back, (very stupid of me), i drove for 50-100 miles and code stayed on, went back to oreilys, at this point its throwing 5 codes, tells me it is o2 sensor still, so i think well i have a good one apparently at home, i will just throw that in the bank 1 sensor 2 slot, (another stupid thing to do) drove for 50-100 more miles and being sick off oreilys borrowed a friends reader and checked the codes myself, now throwing 8 of them, here is a list of the codes i got, (some are repeats)
P0171 - "system adaptive too lean" (I plan on cleaning air filter and MAF sensor tomorrow)

P0136 - "Down stream heated O2 sensor heater circuit low voltage (Bank 1, sensor 2)" Plan on swapping my O2 sensors because due to my previous mistakes I have the wrong sensors in the wrong locations

P0141 - "O2 sensor heater circuit fault (bank1, sensor 2)" Same solution as second code i think

P0330 - "knock sensor circuit 2 fault" not sure on this other then to replace the sensor

    P0171 - same as before

    P0136 - same as before

    P0141 - same as before

P1133 - This is the one that has me confused because it in not listed in my repair manual,

Thanks for the time reading, all help is appreciated, I am mainly concerned with the first and last code, the first code i have read can take a big hit on MPG, and I have definitely noticed that, because I am below half a tank just over 100 miles on the tank, last one concerns me because I dont know what it is, as a side note, the truck does have the TRD s/c if that affects anything, thanks again, hope to see some feedback and/or solutions to my problems

Half of those are probably being caused by one thing. p0171 code can be caused by something as small as a gas cap leak. And that code can be tripped with the other 02 codes.

best to reset the codes then reset the EFI and let it readjust and see what code pops back up again over the next day or two and that will be the "true" issue, just don't let it go days before getting the codes, you need to read them as soon as they pop up

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
So, you didn't change the gas cap?

No I did not change the cap, I didn't get gas anytime near the light first coming on, if it doesn't go away after swapping sensors now, I will look into the cap

you do know the main part that needs cleaning is the one deep down inside that tube?

the thingy on the side is less critical if that is dirty but the main sensor is hard to see and not easy to clean down inside the tube

I went and swapped my sensors, started and light stayed on, I then pulled both The Efi fuses and obd fuse, and turned the key on, after putting them back in and starting the light was still active, I pulled maf again and cleaned as you said down inside the tube and went to start and no light, I will drive and once the light comes back if it does soon I'll check it right away

If you have a smart phone you can get your own code reader for about $25 i did a few years ago cause i got tired of the wife leaving the gas cap loose when she borrowed my suv and having to wait for the codes to clear. i use a app called torque, but i am sure many more exist, it cost $5 and can read codes, plus engine stats, and can clear codes, it also can look up the code on the internet. and i use it with one of these, http://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products...pebp=1435254482651&perid=0HEWG4VS56S43PFX02BR , together they work great, just have to link the reader to the phone via bluetooth, these days for the price, i just buy one and leave it connected to any car in the family, torque doesnt care what reader it is using, or what car it is in (though you can set that info), that way if i get a check engine light or anything else odd, i can just turn on the bluetooth and know what is up in a few seconds.

im sure if you search around on google you can probably find a alternative fairly easily, i did a little looking around and one thing i found that may or may not be a issue, apple does something strange with the bluetooth on iphones, so you might have to get the scanner that is wifi capable not bluetooth like the one i linked, Amazon had this one http://www.amazon.com/ieGeek®-Wirel...2?ie=UTF8&qid=1435276126&sr=8-2&keywords=obd2 says it works on 1996 to 2010 models, and says it has some software on the disk that works on iphone, but i would check your app store for a obd2 app, that was how i found torque.

I second this info. The obd reader is the best 25 bucks ive spent in A LONG time. I just diagnosed a cel on my buddy's audi a4. Torque is cool too. Good luck with tracking down your problems.

i might get that wifi one, reviews were saying it works on iphones, and most obd apps work for it, one was using torque pro, another was obd-something, what are your guys opinions on best obd app

sorry to dp, but im seeing an app for $6 that is a full real time diagnostics, speed, temps, hp, torque, and boost and vacuum, not sure if all of these would even work with my truck being as old as it is, the app is called engine link - OBD II vehicle monitoring
    Has anyone tried this?
