low windshield wiper fluid light was on. Added more, went off, then check engine light came on immediately after. Then Went off. Does the check engine light ever come on for wiper fluid?? I’ve never heard of that before

I’m going to go ahead and say they aren’t related. The check engine light is due to engine or emission problems. My windshield washer fluid light has always been independent of the CEL

Gotta be coincidence unless you added washer fluid to the oil or coolant by accident (highly doubt it but just throwing it out there).

There's likely a stored code in the ECU even though the check engine light went off, if you have a scanner plug it in and see if you can pull the code

Ya it was added to the right place. I don’t have a scanner I might run up to auto zone and use theirs

    OME and worth every penny.
PO420 does that often but certainly could be anything. It'll show up on a scan.

Buying a hand held scanner is one of the best investments in tools you can make. One that reads real time.

    You'll make friends.

You could even get a bluetooth obd adapter and use your phone. They’re pretty cheap online
