    I have a 2001 tacoma 4x4, 4cyc, 2.7L, 5spd manual, SR5.

I noticed that some of the instrument lights are not working.
Orange Fuel (Empty) light, Green 4WD indicator light, Check Engine Light.

Since there are multiple lights not working, I doubt it's the bulb(s).

Anyone seen this issue before ?

Not sure it's related....but last summer, I had a shop replace the Ebrake cable that goes from the handle through the firewall....I didn't notice if the lights were working after they did the cable...

    Any thoughts ?
It's winter, I have no garage, I would rather not take the instrument cluster out if I don't have to...

    Thanks
    Mark

It's common to have multiple lights in the cluster go out at the same time.

To me, the odds of 3 bulbs failing at the same time seems pretty low.

Seems more likely that a point common to all 3 bulbs (a contact, wire, connection, etc. ) ...is failing.

When you turn the key to the “ON” position there is a microprocessor that does a bulb check, voltage is supplied to ALL combination meter bulbs to make them illuminate, do they light up in bulb check mode? If not, pull the combination meter and check the bulbs.

So the instrument cluster has 4 instruments.
    From Left to right

Temperature Gauge -> Tachometer -> SpeedOmeter -> Fuel Gauge

When I turn the key to On, the indicator lights in the Tachometer all light up (red).
These are Battery, Oil, eBrake, Seatbelt, PassangerSeatAirbag.

But I don't see the Check Engine light does not light up (i think is an orange bulb) , nor do I see the 4wd does not light up (green).
