    Check Engine is not the oil light. If it is your check engine light, then you probably do need to take it into your dealer. Or at the very least, get a ODB scan code device (or bluetooth adapter for your smart phone) to retrieve the code and see what the problem is. Most scanners will allow you to clear the code to and reset the check engine light.

    You can reset the "MAINT REQD" light after changing your oil (from the manual, section 4.2 Maintenance):

    Reset the maintenance data (U.S.A. only)
    After the required maintenance is performed according to the maintenance
    schedule, please reset the maintenance data.
    To reset the data, follow the procedures described below:
    Switch the display to the trip meter A when the engine is running.
    (

    P. 155)
    Turn the engine switch to the LOCK position.
    While pressing the ODO/TRIP button (

    P. 155), turn the engine
    switch to the ON position. Continue to press and hold the button
    until the odometer displays 000000.
