Our new Tacoma has been in the dealer service department three times already - just 500 miles on it. Each time, we get a check engine light that codes as an oxygen sensor. First they replaced a sensor (apparently they can't tell which one is bad). After a few days, same thing happened. This time the Service Dept. replaced the exhaust manifold. After a few days, same engine light and error code occurred. Now the dealer is "waiting on parts" and has no time frame for when we will get our truck back. Thoughts? Time to invoke Lemon Law?

Lemon laws have specific requirements and vary by state, you'll have to see if its even eligible at this point.

    What was the code

    Actually they can

Did they tell you what parts? Curiosity and all.

That's up to the laws in your state, you and your attorney.

Isn't this situation why you paid big bucks for a new vehicle with a warranty?

And it appears we have 'another'.

    Comes in with tough problems.

    Asks advice.

    Leaves same day.

Doesn't return to answer questions, offer more detail or update the situation.

It will say bank 1 sensor 2 or whatever when they pull the code. so yeah.... it tells them exactly which one it is.
