Have a P0031 (heater control circuit low bank 1 sensor 1) This is for sure an Oxygen Sensor problem correct? Can anyone tell me who makes the OEM 02 sensor? I want to make sure it works. Should I replace the other one at the same time? Appreciate the input.

Bonus Question! Who makes the OEM ABS wheel speed sensor or are any of the aftermarket ones any good? I have the brake light and ABS light on. Fairly certain it is one of the rear ABS sensors as I was messing around with them a while ago. The same lights turned on when I had left bolt out of one of them. My Bluedriver scanner cant read ABS codes on this year/model (what a piss off) Anyone know of a relatively cheap scanner that can read ABS codes on 2006 Tacomas?

    Thanks for any input!

The upstream sensor is an AFR sensor.
P0031 means the PCM is seeing less than 0.8 amps of current on the AFR heater circuit.
You can unplug the AFR sensor and check the heater circuit resistance (pins 1 and 2), it should be 1.8-3.4 ohms cold

Denso is the OE AFR and O2 sensor manufacturer, make sure you get one from a reputable place (alot of fake parts on Amazon and Ebay) and it's the correct part number.

Not sure who makes the ABS sensors.
As for a scan tool you just have to shop around, there's so many options out there. A good all system bi-directional scan tool is typically gona be in the $300+ range, just do your research and make sure what your buying will do what you want.

Finally got around to testing the resistance of the sensor. I could not get an ohm reading between any of the pins. Pretty sure its not my meter was able to get an ohm reading on a small piece of trailer wire. Tried a continuity test between all the pins an meter wouldnt beep. Going to go ahead and replace the sensor which was the plan anyways. But good to test and not just fire parts at it.

Best way is heat it up, break it loose, then cool it off so it doesn't gall the threads on the way out.
    Yes O2 sensors are 7/8.
