Check Engine P0455 code and Adaptive cruise not working

Hello everyone,

2019 Tacoma off road double cab. 32k miles. Check engine came on. Ran an OBD tool and got P0455, which indicates a fuel leak or issue. I tightened my gas cap to see if it was something simple like that. Check engine is still on and Adaptive Cruise is not working. I am thinking maybe the adaptive cruise shutting down is a safety protocol tied to the code, but wanted to see if this has occurred to anyone else. I know sometimes when you tighten the gas cap, if that is the issue, the light doesn't go off right away. I have thought about doing a battery cable reset to see if the light comes back on. Just wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience and could comment or offer guidance. Thanks in advance.
