Hi my check engine light came on and it was my gas cap. I went and got it checked and want to know how to reset it. But mainly I was wondering about the second light. In the first picture I turned my traction control off and then the second one I turned it on. I'm wondering why this other "car swerving" light is on? As this happened to anyone else's truck?

It is constantly on, and I'm pretty sure it comes on when your tires spin out.

    To be announced
If you push your traction control button it only turns it partially off and if you hold your traction control button it turns it fully off RTFM so your swerving car means you can smoke your back tires off now and the other one means your doors are open.

Your traction control light comes on when the check engine light comes on. If it doesn't go away when the light is cleared you have a problem with the traction control system. Pull codes

Did you flip your car on its side due to the loss of traction control, hence the sideways pictures?

The traction controlsystem is just saying that it is aware of an issue on the check engine light side of things.. when the CEL gets cleared (manually or goes away on its own) the TCS light (s) will go away too..

If you're certain youleft the cap loose, justgo to oreilly's and ask them to clear it.. or if enough drive cycles occur without seeing the same fault will clear itself.. it may take a week or 2 tho..

I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma. I had this issue twice. The first time i brought it to Toyota, they looked at it and said it was an O2 sensor. They covered it under warrenty after trying to get out of it. Then the next day, it came back. I brought it to them again and this time they said it was my catalatic conveter. So without any issues the dealership put in two brand new catilatic converters, and I havent had the issue since. so I dont mean to scare anyone by saying this because may times it is an easy fix such as your gas cap loose or you can reset the battery, definetely take it to Toyota.
