Driving your own vehicle is not the same as watching someone else drive your vehicle like this....

What is wrong with everyone. That is truck abuse and should be taken seriously. I personally contact and hire an attorney to seek damages from the driver and dealership. If they get away with this next they will be selling bacon burritos with out the

I’ll drive customers cars hard sometimes, the speed bumps are inexcusable and also speeding through a parking lot and possibly getting into a situation with other cars isn’t excusable either. The peeling out? Meh, depends on the surface and what you’re doing. I’d never drive a customers car that hard for no reason but diagnosing a drivability complaint or making sure I have everything put back correctly I will. Especially on cars with artificial aspiration, I’ll usually pull 2-3 gear a few times to boost it and make sure I don’t have any boost leaks or misfires. Some cars are just prone to spin, you get a GTI with a DSG and it goes from lugging it to exploding downshift and it’ll spin the tires to easily and frankly is almost annoying. If I were the OP I’d just like to talk to the manager and the tech, just use it as a teachable moment. If the manager didn’t seem to care or receive my attempt to just talk it over then I’d just go higher up right away and make it a problem. I’m a very forgiving person but man when people, especially managers, just don’t care about providing the best customer service I make it a problem.

On a side note I just finished head gaskets and timing chains on a E63. On my road test I got to about 50 mph and I wanted to run it relatively hard a few times just to make sure it got hot and didn’t have any cooling problems, charge pipe leaks or anything else. So I put my foot into it and it felt like the driveshaft center support was going bad. I backed off and it went away, I tried it again and realized it was the ESP activating. Turns out the car has a tune and supposedly its about 670 hp, I thought the kid just deleted the cats because it sounded cool but nope.

How the truck was treated isn't the issue.

But having worked at a company that would have fired him for moving a vehicle more than a inch without having a seatbelt on, or speeding through a parking lot made me cringe.

Needless risk, and one insurance claim will eat up profits.

This, one good trail, that most of us do just to get the truck into 4 wheel drive, will jostle the truck way more then any of that minor stuff in the vid.

That technician is an a$$ hole for driving your truck like that. I tend to be one myself sometimes. I believe that an a$$ hole deserves another a$$ hole. With that logic in mind, I would go to the manager and ask to have a word with the tech and ask him why the f*** he was driving my truck like that. If the tech apologized or gave me a good reason for it, I'd thank him for his time, wish him a good day and forget the whole thing happened. Otherwise, I would send the video to Toyota corporate and put in on YouTube. As I mentioned before: You need an a$$ hole to neutralize another. Believe me, being an a$$ hole neutralizer is not an easy job, but someone has to do it.

My biggest/only concern would be the speed that he takes the speed bumps. But even that is just being picky.
