12 days I returned my 2017 v6 back to the local dealer for the dreaded timing cover leak. Unfortunately, the reseal of the timing cover did not go so well. At the time of return to me, oil was squirting from the rear of the passenger's side valve cover onto the exhaust. Needless to say, the truck appeared to be on fire by the time I was able to U-turn it back to the dealer.

On the plus side, I got this cool new high-mount brake light gasket via a recall.

As far as the oil leak goes, the truck is back on the lift for attempt #2.

Just pure incompetence and unacceptable. Maybe they assigned a rookie to work on your taco. Hope it will be ok this time around :fingerscrossed:

    Hopefully this time is better.

How many miles did you have with the first leak?
