    its a pinion brake, those are rockwell 2 and a half ton axles. it stops the gears instead of the actual weight of the tires.

    not always, big truck means deep mud. big mall crawler means small pecker, but us rednecks down here in the south dont have rocks to crawl around on, or trails to go creepin down, we have deep nasty sloppy mud. and those are the kind of trucks it takes to wheel down here.:D

    The foot block connected to the coil does not look safe AT ALL. Ill pass:)
