    i have new Goodyear Wrangler A/T Adventure with Kevlar 265/70/R16. Didn't notice any MPG difference from my old dry-rotted and almost bald Michelins. Been averaging between 14-16 mpg. City driving mostly

    Ask and you shall receive.
    ECT stands for Electronically Controlled Transmission. When you push the button in, there should be a light on the dash that says "ECT POWER". This changes the normal shift times (based on engine vacuum, rpm, and throttle position) to a later point. This means simply that the engine rpms will go higher before shifting to a higher gear when you're accelerating. It helps build speed more quickly but uses more gas to do so.

    Exactly. There's no use keeping it on the whole time, especially nothing but highway. You're using up more gas.

    Yeah I cant get as high as you guys. Last tank was about 16.5mpg combined prob 70% highway and 30% city. 3.4l v6 dblcab. I drive 55 on the highway and stay under 2k rpm in the city.
