@Spare Parts Squirrels wont nest in an area that never gets dark. I found that tip on an exterminators message board. It drives them nuts. Wish I had found that trick earlier. They moved out instantly! It's on all the time. it was a cheapo from the party supply store.

 

costa mesa is full of mice and little rodents.....my father law could not kill them fast enough....lives near south coast plaza.....from there down to 19th street in newport beach, tons of mice

 

Yea, poison creates a whole set of problems.

Trapping or hunting is preferred to keep it out of the critter food chain.

Didnt say there wasn't any. I did live off 19th and Harbor up untell not to long ago.
Never had a rodent make a nest.
But then again I use the truck every day. That's why I said storage/stored though!

The mom is a veteran her, mate got killed last year some how so the Male is novice but doing a good job.

 

I like to haze uninvited critters with my paintball gun. Wish it was quieter though.

Been down this road more than once, but I didn't catch them in time, either time.
Was driving around with them in the cab filter unaware both times, in two different vehicles.
Daily drivers, BTW.

I use traps at all for wheels on two vehicles every night, without fail. Can't afford not to. I catch one or two a week up here in the woods that would otherwise become immediate occupants.
