    The EBD cant do anything about the nose dive upon brake application. You would need some kind of active shock set up to prevent the front from diving. The faster the rate of deceleration, the more nose dive/weight transfer you will have. Thus....the power is proportioned to the front. Much like the Brake Proportioning valve in the first gens.... It worked by, when under braking, the distance between the bed, and the axel would grow, depending on how much braking was being done. THe more braking, the greater the distance, thus the less power sent to the rear brakes to prevent lock up, and to maintane vehicle control.

    I think I saw in my StoneTech Driving Mag that he had some sort of "celluar regenerative brake pad" He'd let his shit grow back....Never changed a brake pad in his life...

    Yes, gravity is gravity plain and simple but EBD can help reduce nosedive due to the increased brake distribution redirected to the rear and lessened in the front.

    The only way it can reduce the nose dive of the truck, is through less brake application. Im not sure what you quoted is trying to say, but it mentions nothing about nose dive. YES...There are systems out there that do reduce the pitch of a vehicle when the brakes are applied, but they do so with an active dampening on the shocks.

    Chris is correct, one can also design anti-dive geometry into the suspension. Front to Rear brake distribution will not affect dive.

    Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
    Rear brake adjustment should be a regular part of every oil change. Or at least every tire rotation.

    oh yeah. The guy who looked after my truck and families toyotas said my front rotors were extremely warpped and i had no brake pads left

    If a vehicle has an exact brake distribution of 70% Front/30% rear consistently throughout the complete braking application and that same exact vehicle with EBD has a constantly variable brake distribution throughout the braking application where it may have 70% front/30%rear at the onset but vary to the point of a 50/50 split would the nosedive of both vehicles be the same? I don't believe so.
