Check your license plate lights.

I've been frequenting this forum since I decided I was going to purchase my 2016 taco, thought I'd post this here just in case anyone else may be running into the same issue.

I've had the truck two weeks, noticed yesterday while I was hitching my trailer that a license plate light bulb was out. I tapped the plastic casing and it came back on, loose connection maybe?

Anyways, tonight both were out and neither worked when I tapped them. I couldn't figure out how to easily take off the covers so I just scheduled a quick appt. with the service dept. to have them check the fuses/wiring harness/bulbs.

 

I will let the police check them for me.

Kidding, not the first person to mention that, so good to know.
