What does your passenger side look like? Cracking along the shaft like your driver's side did or cracking at the weld like @MonkeyProof

Gee, weird that a company outsourced parts to be manufactured. Not like Ford, Gm, or Chrysler has ever done that...

It appears (and my memory serves) that I had such poor fit up on the passenger side gusset I didn't actually weld along the entire bottom of the gusset, I welded on the outside of it but left the inside un-welded due to the gap. I figured it was enough to add some strength so I didn't bother trying to fill in the gap. So there isnt a weld all the way along the bottom of the gusset. That may have been the best decision I made during the whole process.

Pretty sure the poor fit up on my gussets/spindles was due to the spindles already being tweaked from driving like an asshole through the desert.

Yes, the bulk heads are amazing on this chassis. Plus it's powder coated! I hate dealing with baretube chassis

I like that people are going that direction now. Suspension leave bare for NDI testing but chassis... I did a couple class 1 chassis that we powdered clear. It was perfect for protection but easy to sand off, fix something then just spray some clear touch up.

This is an old picture, and oddly enough you can see exactly what I am talking about when I say I had a really bad fit up on the passenger side, You can see the gap that I opted not to fill in. The outside where I did weld is cracked.
