I wouldn't complicate it. I just cut a piece of 3/16" plate in a triangle shape and welded it to a buddies spindle/gusset (TC non-sway bar version). Has the same effect and was basically free since I cut it from scrap.

I would say the photos of yours and wishbones are more damning of the design. Speaking for my own case, the way that I did mine ended up dramatically accelerating the failure of the spindle and can't put any blame on them.

An hour after I put in the order they called to verify my VIN to make sure the parts were the right ones since there are a couple of similar designs/part numbers.

I can tell you from experience, James was able to deliver on his one day turnaround promise.

Brought my '09 spindles into shop in a cardboard box, picked them up the next day all beefed up.

What BS do your wheels have? I'm curious since it appears these gussets stick out a bit and there maybe clearance issues with the wheel.

IMO, the truck shop gussets follow the contour of the spindle quite well, so I think you could possibly even run OE wheels with 5.25 BS, but that's a guess on my part!!!

    I'm running 4runner limited wheels, 4.5 BS

Interesting. I'll have to check my clearances before commiting to this gusset style.

If anything at the very minimum you can run a .75" spacer.

I was never quoted BS limitations, if there are any, they should tell, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't know! Exact same issue I had with the Total Chaos ones. TC couldn't say, even when I created a really good thread about it, no definitive answer.

Anyway, here are better pics I have that show the contour.

I'm running these with a UBJ too.

Do you recall if the plates on it are 1/8 or 3/16? Or a mix?
