Just a heads up...and I don't want to poop on SSO, but had a fairly decent snafu today on a slimline bumper install on a 19 Tacoma. One of the last steps in this bumper install is to attach some fender brackets to the bumper and fender. They are basically front fender supports (I'll add pics below). The bracket is supposed to be bolted to the bumper via threaded holes. Great. Awesome. Sweet. Guess what? My bumper wasn't threaded. "Use a bolt", you say. Unfortunately without complete removal of the bumper there is no access to the rear of the bolt hole. Soooo, if you have an SSO sitting in your garage, please check that the holes are threaded. If they are not, attach the brackets via nut and bolt prior to hanging the bumper. I plan on reaching out to SSO but haven't yet. How did I attach the bracket? It's now welded on. All in all I really love this bumper, but little QC details like this drive me insane. Happy modding!!Screenshot_20200804-213519_Drive.jpg Screenshot_20200804-213519_Drive.jpg 20200804_190541.jpg

my brackets are pulling the bumper further. thats why my trim is sinking in the bumper from the sides.

Unfortunately I found that test fitting prior to cutting plastic is critical. Fit, mark, remove, trim, repeat. We couldn't find an easier way. I'm happy with the results, but it wasn't easy. Again, the lack of threads was a huge screw up on the last step of a long install. If I hadn't welded the wing brackets on, my bumper would also be flexing due to the lack of threads on the bumper. Hope you get it figured out...
