I have a 2WD, I guess I don't have to worry about it. But, I will still check tomorrow morning. ;)

FWIW, happened on one of mine, too.

Spicer recommends you do not exceed 60 psi.
The Lincoln 1133 grease gun mentioned in this thread can develop 7,500 psi.

I kept reading the thread and no need to worry on the 2WDs.

What's the factory torque spec (or recommended) for the bolts on the U-Joints?

Crap - now is this something I need to worry about? I don't know how to check this after pumping to ensure not over pressurized? I waited for a seal or two to push through. I always had a slight backfill of grease after removing fitting from the zero but was a normal amount from back when I was younger and when removing coupler from the zerk fitting.

Back pressure does not close the ball. It it spring loaded. If it leaks out the ball, you need to change the zerk or it will sling the grease out while driving. Press on the ball of a new zerk, you will feel the spring. The ball can get dirt under it, keeping it from seating. Always wipe off the zerk before greasing, this will make the coupler last longer too.

For documentation's sake, is there a good howto on replacing zerks on our trucks?

Probably the paint the zerks were covered with.

Poke around on the ball with an o ring pick or something pointy and see if you can get it to seat again.

I finally talked my dealership into trying to fix my slip yoke bump. Rode with the shop foreman etc.
He ended up taking the shaft off and putting the Motorcraft XG8 ptfe on it. Immediately the clunk is gone. We'll see how long it stays gone, but at least I know for sure where it's coming from. I'll push for a new shaft if it comes back. He at least is contacting Toyota about my issue, so that's good I guess.

They initially said they drove another truck on the lot and it did it too. I talked to the service manager and said "I know they don't all do it" so we took another one. No clunk....

SO much for the mythical total quality management crap that they are supposed to do on the line.

Is an issue like this something Toyota's sent out a TSB for in the past?

There is relationship between quantity and quality in manufacturing.
Toyota did add 3rd shifts at both plants to increase production.
Good, fast, cheap; pick two, I reckon.
Be a shame if it was SOP.
Yours were gtg from the factory?
