I know 2nd gen doesn't have a dipstick and was wondering if there was any way to check the condition of the AT fluid without doing a drain and fill. 2006 4x4 truck currently has 130k and has been maintained since day 1 every 3,000 mi at the stealership, (my Dad previous owner) so it should have been done as scheduled but would like to see for myself. Are the fluid levels such that I can just unscrew the fill bolt and stick a finger in to check? Would also like to check the differentials the same way, that should be possible right?
