According to the TRD S/C installation instructions, I am supposed to have my truck (2015 Tacoma TRD-OR DCSB) calibration code verified before installing the TRD supercharger. I called a couple dealerships local to me, and both want to charge me a full hour ($115~) just to check the code...

Am I mistaken in thinking this is a 2-second ordeal? Plug in Techstream, check code, no??

    What the hell stealerships!

they should check that before flashing the ECU with the supercharger flash..... its literally a 2min deal to check the current ECU flash.

Yeah they should be able to check the code in a matter of minutes. I was paranoid that I may have had the wrong flash done by the dealer, so I went back a month later and had them check. I watched the whole process...they bring out a laptop, plug it into the computer and it displays the codes. 5 minutes in and out.
