Everything went together pretty good... but what goes to this? Can’t seem to find anything else loose.

Hello, I did my valve cover gaskets this weekend. My picture shows it going to the air box. 20200627_145103.jpg

I use blue loc-tite and don't worry about it.

If you use a breaker bar, hanging 200# on it 1' down is about right. Unfortunately, I now weigh enough to do this.

Hmm didn’t get any emails about this till today! Thanks Itsmerandy! I new I was missing a part and I didn’t know that it went there. Looked around but didn’t see anything the other day at end of day. I put part in a place so that I wouldn’t forget about it but did anyway. Got laid off on Tuesday and have been in a funk since then. Time off has been nice though!!! Ended up buying a torque wrench at Menards. Had some 11% rebates to trade in on it, plus I’ll get 11% back off remaining total. This wrench cost me $21 and I bought it’s tiny brother a few months ago. Very satisfied with first one. It is cheaper price wise than Harbor Freight, but is really good quality. I used torque wrenches all the time at work. These two are better than theirs and you can read the numbers without a magnifying glass! A whopping $59.00 compared to to around $70 at HF.

Home Depot one looks to be of good quality... one I was gonna rent from O’Reillys was junk and was more of a toy version of a torque wrench than a real tool. Clerk looked it over before loaning it to me but looks were deceiving. Be careful when renting tools check them yourself.

Finally got done with truck today! Been waiting on parts for weeks from OEMgenuineparts. Not their fault I guess the world is a screwed up mess with this virus crap. Anyway it’s done and was good to hear it willingly start up. New water pump, timing belt, cam seals, crank seal, cam sensor, crank sensor, Harmonic balancer, accessory belts, reshimmed exhaust valves, stripped/painted valve covers, new valve gaskets and new hoses including oil coolant hoses. Thanks for all your help and I’m glad it’s done!

Was happy and thanking God that it didn’t catch on fire...was concerned about the fuel rail. Was prepared like a Boy Scout if it did!
