The one thing that I'm grateful for is that now everything goes into the 3rd gen section.

Engineer here... wondering if he used schedule 40 or 80 pipe... and if he skipped cement on purpose so it could be re purposed later.

My favorite part of this is the fact that he tied off the kayak to a perfectly good receiver hitch, and yet a better solution eluded him.

Understood, but you do realize there are levels of stupid right?
For example, I think I am a reasonably intelligent guy, but there are a LOT of people smarter than me that could make fun of my decisions... but they don't. Why? Because usually the people who decide to make fun of someone aren't much smarter than the victim. Actions tell a lot about a person's intellect. Just sayin'

I get people want to point and laugh (I do), but yeah, doesn't look like it's built to be a roof rack... but some other contraption he's transporting.

Funny shit right there. Now in his defense as an old kayak fisherman I knew a lot of people who would make the wheel dolly out of PVC and it works great so I really want to believe this engineering marvel of a creation is some sort of kayak stand maybe for after he is camping at the lake?

I feel like he over engineered this. Could of probably got away with a half the material.

He should have budgeted $4 for some glue. Probably was worried about scope creep. Or he also uses that thing to gather rain water when he's not kayaking.

Honestly it’s not a roof rack. It’s a rack of some kind and he only put t there cuz it can’t go anywhere else.

I’m sure it’s kayak related or something but as a kayaker. I have no idea what it is. Makeshift boat rack when at the lake?
