Amazing photography! They did a great job in Call of Duty recreating the original buildings.

Yeah very good photos...especially the few HDR photos.

Like everyone has said...it's amazing to see a place abandoned like that...and see nature take it back over.

You guys need to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl. Mix CoD with real life. It's good stuff. Looks EXACTLY like those pictures.

    Excellent find.

    Nothing yet, brand new!
It's weird to look at today. I remember seeing her work posted several years ago. She does take some decent photos of the surrounding area. I believe her work was posted in a major paper like the WaPo or NY times 4-5 years ago.
    Good post Neon!

Sometimes I wonder if we would all be better off if the earth reclaimed some of what we have taken from her.

Thanks for that reminder, she did an amazing job. It was extremely distrubing seeing the desolate vacated once populated area.

While in the navy we read some of the scientific reports/studies about the incident and the fall out and the future of the ground zero, if you will.
In short there was zero regard to human life.
I met a couple of pro hockey players that grew up there, had left to play hockey in north America, but still had family from there.
    The stories they told, unreal.
What they did to the kids under 12 was bizzare

Between the clothes, shoes, bike, truck, uniforms, and toy machine gun I have a hard time believing this was taken at or near Chernobyl. Looks way to old for that. Interesting picture nonetheless.
