My truck was broken into Monday (3/6/17), thief hit and popped the rear slider window, removed the center headrest and stole everything of value from the cab. This happened between noon and 2pm at my busy work parking lot (ballsy stupid fucking asshole) either way, I ordered a security bar the next day.

If you're like me and think "my truck won't get broken into" just buy the damn thing! There's nothing worse than the feeling that someone else not only got into your vehicle, but stole your belongings. I had a lot of stuff in my truck to the point where I have no idea just how much was stolen. My center console and glove box had all kinds of things, only item that was visible was my radar detector, nothing was "out in the open" to cause anyone to break in. All stupid things but annoying to replace (ipod, gopro, wallet, sunglasses, eye glasses... again nothing in plain sight but the radar detector on the windshield)

One of the worst parts of this was seeing all my stuff tossed all over the cab... it really sucks. (toolbox was behind the passenger seat and it was emptied out and tossed on the front seat)
Everything from the glove box was dumped all over the floor.

Thank you to @mattgecko for how quickly he shipped this gem out to me! It is now the most valuable mod to my truck to date.
    It fits like a glove!

Its a violating feeling for sure. Super emotional. I've been there. Sorry that happened my bearded buddy. Glad you got that bar. See you soon, home slice.

Total nightmare, but I have my health, all the money he swiped from my cards the bank is working on replacing. The seriously annoying part was my 3 hour trip to the DMV for a new license. I can't wait for Friday! Friends, camping, guns, wheeling, beer, chili contest, does it get any better?

I like your positive outlook. Its the only way. Getting down and depressed over shit wont help anything. We bend, but we do not break. Stoked for this weekend!!

Haha I went through the depressed stage, positive now, but I have that looming fear that at any moment my truck could get broken into again :pout: All that can be done is remove any and all valuables and add the best "security" measures I can (where I'm parked, locked doors, nothing visible...)

That's the ticket. Posessions can be replaced. If someone really wants your stuff they're gonna get it. Ive had a gun pulled on me from someone trying to truck jack me. I relate to the shock factor. Anyhow, chili, guns, and beer are on the horizon. Lets do this!

Thanks Chad. Whoever it was, I hope they get caught. The bank is taking care of it but the ran up some serious charges to my card. What's really funny is my buddy left a half empty tin of chew in my truck, they took that too  it was like 2 months old and all dried out, I just hadn't thrown it away :anonymous::laugh:
