I can imagine, the 4runner is under some major changes.

Just noticed you're on Toyo RT's. How are you liking them?

Lol! I don't blame ya! They seem to be the most, or at least one of the most expensive tires out there. Haven't been liking my ko2's recently.. Was planning on going with them for my next tire, Just debating if I wanna stick with the 16's I just picked up or sell them and go for 17's

That's a tough call. Might be a hair cheaper in 16" though. Mine are 295/70-17
These things hook up really well off road, and have been doing well on road too. I'm most impressed with how quiet they are and the grip in dirt. They seem to be wearing very well too, I've had them a little over a year now and aside from a few chunks from rocks they show little wear.
If they aren't on your radar I'd also check our the ST Maxx from Cooper, solid and very similar tire.

My ko2's have started to slightly chunk as of a few months ago, and it just got worst after the few trips I've done. I actually never came across the ST Maxx's surprisingly haha. I was mainly looking at Falkens at3w or Toyo RT, was looking into their MT variants but figure it would just be super unnecessary. Also was looking into the 295/70/17 for the RT's :D

Bummer. I'm sure there will be a chance at some point. I think there's a Big Bear trip and Calico trip in the works as well.

Picking up some 3rd gen take off leaf springs with Icon AAL monday, some stock front struts from Jason (@Speed Freek ) eventually, and still have my stock UCAs. Just need some 5100s or something for the rear and my parts list to swap onto my truck will be complete. Then time to clean clean clean and sell her for a 4x4 :bananadance:

Keeping my Icons, UCA, leafs and rear shocks to transfer to the new taco.

I'm feeling weird emotions coming to grip with selling the truck I've had since new... but 4x4... haha.

Your build is almost identically to the 2nd gen I had. 4" spindles, Allpro leafs, 34" tires.
I also grew out of the Prerunner model and started looking for a 4X4. I've been happy with my decision.

Haha nice! I've been really happy with it, but sucks going on a run and having that hesitation on certain trails that if there's a hill juuuuust steep enough or slippery enough I won't make it up :pout:

Or all the other things like rocks and sand and all that. But you get my point lol.

It's tough because I love my truck, but I know I'll be happier with a 4x4 version. I've actually come across a DCSB Radiant red 4x4. I was thinking about how funny it would be to not tell anyone and roll up with that :ohsnap:

4lo alone is sweet. So much torque.

    Thanks Tim!
Hahahaha, I started with one set... :anonymous:

There's currently three sets in our apt now, one of which is my retrofit headlights. Two sets are still factory seal OEM lights. I'll BHLM and sell them...eventually
