I also like this idea, but it takes a fair amount of expendable income to pull it off. Not saying beating up your daily is the best option. It’s just easier to manage one vehicle.

I don't have the income to buy a truck, sliders, skids, bumpers, winch, snorkel, arb twin... (wait what else have you bought recently so I can add to this) haha. I need to play it safe, money comes slowly.

    Sounds perfect in theory haha.

I like this idea, but too much for my plate.

Buy a DCSB and you’ve already got the sliders and a skid. What’s a winch???

AC and DCSB sliders are interchangeable. I have stock "skids" lol no steel skids.

Just read your first post, Im about to take my rad red dcsb out to Hollister for the first time myelf. Just threw on a lift and tires but I'm just gonna take her through the paces, nothing too crazy. Hopefully skids and sliders will be next. Don't have a TRD but was lucky enough to get a 4x4. It was cool reading about your trucks journey!

Awesome man! Should be a good time with all this recent rain. Going solo or with TW?
Grab a map from the ranger station before heading in, from what I remember the trails aren't marked all that well.

Been there a few times but always as a passenger. Got a good group of guys from around where I live (concord) most of em are jeep guys but I've found a few tacos to tag along. Pretty familiar with the area but this time I'll actually have my own vehicle :headbang::taco:

My truck is pretty much complete. I have been thinking of a lowered truck build. Bring out my inner Chicano Barrio Loco low rider spirit.
