If you mount Chevy 63 leafs, are they going to be shorter than the standard stock tacoma leafs found in an extended cab?

Also, will the leaf spring rear shackles be in the same place if you place Chevy 63's versus stock tacoma leafs?

Is it possible to bob 13-14 inches from a first gen bed with Chevy 63's?

This should be in suspension tech and you should probably search.

Chevy 63's are 63 inches long which is much longer than your stock springs. to Make them work you have to get/build new front spring hangers and mount them 7-8" forward of stock. You can leave the rear shackle hangers in the stock location. You can probably bob the 13" if you move the rear hangers forward a little but your shackles will sticking out past the frame by a good amount.

I am not done with my rear end setup but have been running the 63's for over 6 months now. Flex is very nice, ride quality is meh.. I still plan on doing 6" shackles, creeper joint shackle hangers, and ditching the overloads. Here are a few pics of my current setup.

And just an FYI, this is in the wrong place. This section is for offroading and trails discussion.
