So have a 06 that is creeping up on 200k miles and want to treat her to a new back end. Recently did the 2WD to 4WD conversion and have the itch to chop this sucker up some more...

This is my daily driver and I have a bed rack and RTT that I keep on full time, so I'm trying to think about the best way to go about this with shocks being on back order...

So I guess my question here is, can I swap the leafs but keep the 5100 shocks on while I wait? No plans on any wheeling where I would be testing the flex/limits. Once the shocks (King PR2012-SS) come in I'll throw the shock relocation brackets and shocks in. Objections?

On a separate note... Will be replacing wearing parts on the front end.. Sway bar links, tie rods, lower ball joints. What other parts should I be looking at for a little 200k miles preventative maintenance? Already have done UCA and 5100's

    Thanks Everyone!

You know the 63 swap requires fabrication, yes?

As in it's not literally a spring swap?

Yes I know it’s not just a swap. Already gathered all the brackets, parts, and leafs. Guess swap was the wrong word… once I’m finished doing all the fabrication to mount the 63’s.. see any issues running standard shocks until the 12” come in? Then fabbing the shock relocation in and mounting the 12” kings. Just being ran as a DD with standard mount and shocks until that day comes..
