I fit a toddler seat and 2 infant seats in the back of mine and that's good enough for me. I personally think the tahoes, especially the new ones are garbage. We have some for our patrol units and they sounds terrible (like they're whining all the time). Seems like there's always a problem with them. They are however ran pretty much 24/7 unless they're in the shop and who knows how many different people drive them and their habits. I would go for something else

My partner has an 08 Pilot. She loves it, and it's pretty damn good inside.
My folks have an 01 or 02 Nissan Murano and that's been super solid for them. If I had to get an SUV for kids that's what I'd look at in addition to 4Runners. The Sequoia is a little over kill personally. That bitch be huge!

And I don't like how it looks. I'd go Land Cruiser hunting first but fucking Toyota doesn't sell them in Canada.

    Fuckers...

Just got back from vacation in my '09 Honda Pilot AWD...Drove 600 total miles and averaged 24mpg. This is very good considering there were 3 adults, 2 children and 1 dog w/the back full of luggage. About 100 miles of it was city and the rest was freeway.
